Have You Ever Protested?

Yes, I have taken part in one of biggest protest in my country in this modern time which was the END SARS PROTEST. The whole world heard about it because our government even went to the extent of killing innocent civilians by the military just to suppress the protest.

A lot of youths lost their lives in Lekki Toll Gate on 20th October 2020 when the army started firing at them immediately they turned off the toll gate lights.

Truly you fought for your right here.

Gladly you hold peaceful protests and the police presence would be there mainly for Keeping law and order in your country. In my country we hardly have peaceful protests. Even if the protestors meant for peaceful protests, the police would always be there with tear gas to scatter the crowd.

I was a student leader in college and we used to lead protests as when policies didn't favour the youths or the students community. I have led at the forefront, a protest against my country's army. We did a protest match to the barracks.

I believe in PEACEFULL protest. Not the stupid antifa riots that we seen a few years ago. Those antifa idiots are just that... IDIOTS.
Unfortunately, we had our own peaceful protest in 2020 and so many youths got killed for it by the government that was supposed to protect them because they were afraid of what the youth was going to achieve through the protest.

@Aragon Burner Here!

Hundreds of people were killed in this protest. They were shot by the army and till date, none of the family got justice for their killed sons and daughters.

Yes, I've protested. Back on February 14, 2018, there was a terrible attack at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. I live nearby, and sadly knew some of the people who died. We all came together to protest in Parkland. Hundreds of students and parents joined us. We marched to the high school to speak out against weak gun laws and the NRA. It was a powerful experience.

That was great. How did the government of that time handled the situation? Did the president come out to speak or they made changes silently that calmed the people down?

A lot of innocent people have been killed as a result of this poor and weak gun laws. I keep asking myself why the government isn't doing anything to change this situation as fast as possible. They will always keep making excuses for not doing anything.

You could face it at any time or at any moment. There are a lot of rude people in this world. They don't want to see anyone successful in his life. As a form of this, they do violent acts against it like protesting him. You need to ignore them.

I was involved in one protest in the past when the price of gas was increased in my country. It was very bad, and I couldn't even hide my anger as I joined a peaceful match around the vicinity.
What was the outcome of the protest all those whom was affected by the increased price in your country? Did the government do anything to reduce the price or did they ignore the peaceful protest.
