Question "Microlikes"?

Could someone please explain what a "microlike" is supposed to be?

...😄 I've never heard of this being used anywhere, other than here.

Tbh it just sounds like a made up pseudo-"word".

I've Googled "microlikes" and it appears there are no results. All it shows is results for 'micro-links'.

I am going to try and run Microlikes here at DebateHQ and at Peak Forum. Peak Forum maybe going to a paid to post type forum and you can earn Microlikes and cash them in for different things. One thing could be Peak Coin, which can be withdraw by Paypal or others services. I am still setting Peak Forum up.

This way you can earn on both sites. If it works out, I may add to other forums I have.

😄Woah! Just had a quick read through the site and tbh I think it's somewhat similar to what I'd trialed several variations of a few months ago using the DBTech Shop & Credits.
And it definitely did eventually work-(*once we'd fine tuned things)-and we did begin to see the desired positive results, although only with certain members.

Oddly it had an opposite effect on the....🤔 I guess -mature members, who more or less generally seemed disinterested—and in a few cases their participation lessened significantly.
I did seek feedback from these members regarding this and as best I can tell it basically boiled down to them perceiving it as something sorta like bribery. I guess they must've felt insulted perhaps.

😂 @Shortie was with us when I first tried this financially incentivized gamification and probably recalls how one particularly comical member attempted to take advantage of it in a pretty ridiculous manner.
 
Well on this site I am not going to push anything but debates really. Have a new style and mod that is coming soon. Debates done in a never before way in XenForo. This mod was written for this site. Think of doing some how to video for it and the site.

l am going to sign up on the peak forum very soon. l think that the microlikes thing is win win kind of scenerio to both of the website owners and the posters too.

Yes it is a win win situation for every one. The site would have quality content on the site that can help both members and visitors. The posters will get rewarded with microlikes.
 
I came to know of Microlikes from Discussionbucks. And I have signed up just now. It's a very new concept to me and I am yet to understand it fully. Anyways, I have done the needful by submitting my API key here. I will take some time to explore it and understand it. I hope that it works well for me.
