With the increase of inflation and the cost of living hitting many people hard, many had called for an increase in the minimum wage and as much as we have had an increase here in the UK of just over 10%, many are still saying it's not enough.

What are your thoughts on the current minimum wage at the moment? Is it enough or do you feel it should be more?

What about in your country? Have you seen a minimum wage increase and if you have, has it been enough?

The inflation is hitting real bad in my country, it have been never ending tussle between government and labour congress. In my opinion, the minimum wage should be increased as inflation is rising. Last month, the inflation rate reached 28% . Imagine the level of hard people are experiencing now.

It isn't easy at all for Nigerians. The inflation rate is over the roof and it's not funny at all. The prices of goods and services are just galloping by the day. it is really appalling.

I have seen news that here in my country wage is increasing. But I don't believe a hundred peso (USD $2) increase is not enough to cope up with the high cost of goods in the market.

Before the global issues, I can go grocery shopping and I fill my cart to the brim and I pay less compared now, my cart isn't full but is more expensive than that of before.

The minimum wage in my country was recently increased, but the Truth of the matter is that it is still not enough. The cost of living keeps increasing, it has become extremely difficult for even does who have multiple sources of income to survive, not to mention does relying on minimum wages.

for me, it will not be enough, considering the prices of everything here in my place that never go down. Prices here always increased weekly, so how could a salary for an ordinary worker be enough? It is so crucial for those who earn below the poverty line.
If they go down then it is only possible if retailers made discount and that it is once a year, the discounts are twenty percent on clothes and only in expensive ones like those you purchase for weeding or for end of year ceremony PFE there is 50 % or 60 %, or sometimes promotion for anniversary of retailer not more than that.
