We all know that already, some places are either working on or already using robots to do certain jobs. As much as at the moment robots are not something many would want to rely on due to how unreliable they can be at the moment.
In time though we will start to see them become more reliable and that may result in them doing a lot of jobs that we do now.
The Terminator movies predicted it and I don't see why I wouldn't happen. Well, do you all see any scenario putting checks on AI? How might that be done?
It is going to happen one day or another. Giving control to someone is going to cost a lot. No matter that is a human or an artificial intelligence. There are chances where they go independent.
Eventually, they will take over, leading to more unemployment. In fact, the popularity of AI has hurt my online work. My present online work is related to writing, and the amount of work I receive per week has drastically decreased.
Of course company owners would like to have workees that don't need payment and sick day off, but i don't think that robots can fully cover humans work.
I work with an IT company, but I am not a technician or IT expert. Just recent, the company launched or deployed AI and has partnered with known company. We have thousands of tech and engineers who are working onsite but with the increase of AI deployment, the workloads will drastically change. And for sure companies will follow suit.
I think at the moment we are somewhat close to that stage. Right now we have a lot of artificial intelligence or ai we make use of for various activities.
Artificial intelligence won't take away human jobs in the real sense. It would only make some job roles irrelevant. Humans have to evolve and get into the job roles that AI itself would create. Artificial intelligence would also create some job openings too.
