Something I hear a lot about from people like my mum, grandma, and even friends of my mum and dad is how home economics and cooking classes were almost pretty much compulsory when they were in school and it was something all kids were taught in school.
When I went to school, cooking classes were something that was available but it was called Food Technology and that was an option for us to choose when it came to our final year exams in school, it was never compulsory.
Now though, it seems things such as home economics and even cooking classes are not compulsory or even a thing for kids in school now which is quite worrying as it is something that I feel is essential and should be taught in schools.
Do you feel home economics or even cooking classes should be made compulsory in school?
