The death penalty is not something that is used everywhere in the world but it is still a form of punishment in some places. Many will argue that the death penalty is too severe due to how many people have been found not guilty years later whilst others feel it is a good form of punishment regardless.

Do you feel the death penalty serves as an efficient deterrent to criminal behaviour?

Yes, I believe it does especially for repeated offenders. They are people that just have the tendency to commit crime especially grievous ones. The law just need to keep them permanently away from decent people by handing them death penalty.
What about those who committed a crime but it later is known that they were guilty, something such as death can not be reversed meaning in some cases, someone who was innocent could have lost their life for something they never did.

I know in some cases those who are served the death penalty do have to wait some time but it can take a long time before someone is proved not guilty.

That's why every case should be proven irrefutably that a person is guilty before a sentence is passed. Sentence should not be given when there is any gray area.

With that said and done, any person that has been proven beyond any iota of doubt to be guilty of murder and any form of intentional killing of another should get the death sentence and it should be hastily implemented after exhausting all allowances of the legal system.

I'm not so sure about it. Well, a lot of people that have sold out to evil are on a point of no return. In fact, the Bible says once evil is done often more follows.

I mean, have you heard about the untouchable syndrome in drug dealing? Basically, those in it seems to have a magical power to avoid capture for a good deal of time, so obviously, they don't care about murder, cops, or rivals.

I'm concerned with the death penalty being a form of punishment for offenders. Forbhe optimum time, I believe it is a Strong and most effective way of stopping crime. My friend was murdered by a guy who's been killing people and removing certain body parts for rituals. Unfortunately, the girl died but her phone was on record recording everything that was happening as she was on call with a friend. It happened that the murderer was caught and arrested and sentenced to death and most of the culprit brought to book. In a way, this had helped stopped certain killings in my area

I'm completely anti death penalty. I do not think it serves as a deterrent. I would focus more on rehabilitation. Not saying release back into society, but enough to not be a threat inside prisons.

What makes it more complicated is that there are times someone that is not truly guilty will be given the death penalty and it always makes things worse. So, this is the reason I prefer rehabilitation as a means of making criminals turn a new leaf.
