I think it's shameful of the New York justice system to change a law a year ago to allow this case to proceed in court considering this was a 20 year old accusation and was passed the statutes of limitations to go to trial. On the other hand there are people with shameful behaviors that do deserve their day in court with whatever the outcome is. I just would like our judicial system to be honest and for politicians to get back to being principled.

Wow, didn't realise the convictions were the old. Even if obviously politically motivated, I wonder why the victims hadn't gone to civil trial during the previous US election. Perhaps because there were law changes that were recent?

That's the whole issue, that this allegedly happened over 20 years ago? Why now?

It makes one wonder about the real reason for the law change last year, as the optics of changing this law makes it look like it's politically motivated?

My issue is not of... did this or did this not happen as I have complete compassion for anyone that has been sexually assaulted and raped, but my issue is with the potential insincerity of this law change last year that allowed this alleged incident to be brought to court now as the statue of limitation has now been extended.

Why can't the judicial system operate within the law and keeping politics out of their decision making in the courts?

Like what? Explain to me what it is that Fox News says about Trump. Why is that people on the left are so obsessed with him lol. How about focusing on your current president and his administration. Look at how they're destroying America.
