Something I have noticed with schools, even when I was in school is just how much they tolerate debates within school. Most schools if not all tend to stay away from any kind of debates even if they are healthy debates and would help a lot in education.

Debates can be held in a way that they are healthy and can allow everyone to air and voice their opinions in a safe way but schools for some reason do not believe that any kind of debate should happen in school.

What are your thoughts? Do you think allowing healthy debates in school would be a good idea?

During my time in school, some students engaged in debates that served as a platform to assess and improve their knowledge and communication skills. Participating in these debates allowed them to develop into excellent public speakers. I believe that including debates in the school curriculum can bring about several different benefits for the students.
