This stuff seems to be the idea of the Christian "Mark of the Beast" brought to life. Who else has noticed this? Do you feel this will expand into a real problem of an apocalyptic level?
I think its an inevitable part of human evolution. We are merging with technology to form a new species. Technology will be a part of every human very soon. Give it 30 years and every human born will have a chip inserted in them that is supposed to be for tracking their health etc, but will be used by government agencies to catch fugitives and such.
