Where are the cheapest motel/hotel rooms in the US?

Actually, the resort or property fees on the Vegas motels raise the prices on the cheapest ones to levels similar to other places in America. In that case, do you feel that's lying to get bookings?

I've found Vegas hotels to be pretty good with you if they think you there to blow money lol. I got a free night in a vegas hotel for nothing really, just playing slots and spending money at the resort I guess.
