Should Tik-Tok be banned in the US?

I'm not sure if banning it would do any good anyhow. If we are assuming some tyrannical Chinese government is behind Tik-Tok, they can just work thru an American company. Wouldn't you think so?

I don't believe that TikTok being banned in the US will make any difference at all, so far I know that TikTok has said they are not going anywhere and will fight, this likely tells many of us that eventually it will be banned in the US.

All they are doing at this point is controlling what the US can do online and those who use TikTok as a means to earn a living will be the ones that suffer the most.

If China can ban Facebook and Google, The US has the rights to ban Chinese owned Tiktok. However, the reasons for banning Tiktok doe snot look plausible to me. Facebook sold data to private company, and Facebook enjoys the freedom to operate, whereas there are no concrete proof that Tiktok sells data yet the Chinese government. It is mainly about the business

If they choose to ban tiktok, its their choice, though for does who tends to use tiktok for earning within the county would be affected greatly. Let's just watch and see how things goes though.

You can't be doing me evil and expect me to do good. China banned Facebook and Google. They might have did it to help their local companies in this sector grow. I am in support of USA banning TikTok.

If the U.S. boasts about the freedom and free speech that concerns the country, I don't think it should be banned, how bad is TikTok in the U.S.? Is it really such a serious public problem?
