Do you feel animated cartoons should come back?

It seems like everything is 3D animation. What do you feel are big differences between 3D animation and animation? Why is one winning out over the other?

3D is easier and cheaper in the long run, just doesn't look as good. But there are still 2D series out there being done.

I would also love to see another old cartoon done in the Filmation style, it had a lot of charm. Or something like Thundercats.

Definitely there are advanced tools for making animation just like 2D. It's not like the days where Pinocchio was drawn by hand.

Well, has anyone seen some of these computer programs? Some of them are available to anyone for computer download.
