Some from older generations will tell you to shave them. In fact, they seem to be the "new long hair" for men. Anyway, some employers are accommodating it, though, even allowing for beard nets in food service jobs.
Each their own, if they want it they should have it. I don't want a beard though, I hate the thought of keeping it groomed and clean without getting hair in my food.
There is nothing wrong with beards. It is a personal choice of a person how to groom their facial appearance. I actually won't get to do anything romantic with a guy that doesn't have beards. It is an attraction for me. No negotiations about that.
