I believe in that doctrine but in a different way. I think thru all time and past death, everyone will eventually come to Jesus for salvation. That's the only thing that really makes the Bible make sense.

No doubt those things are against the Bible. However, being self-righteous, being a wife-beater, being racist is also against the Bible.

In many cities there are homeless shelters, but they choose not to live there, probably because it's a threat to their freedom. Anyway, to a large extent, I can understand because, from personal experience, people wanting to help are often abusive (controlling, nosy, judgmental etc.).

Well, as for the United States, for instance, politics has totally ruined Christianity. Some have argued Christians have sold out either to some social justice platform or some anti-empathy conservative thing.

Entitlement has always existed, though. For instance, given the Bible stance on it, a lot of American Christians, who generally are against entitlement, are all for inheritances and have always been.
