Should there be a military draft?

What are some pros and cons? Do you feel the draft should be strict so rich people can't get softer military positions or avoid it? I think that's that should be the case based on the history of so many of them.

Yes i believe there should be. It would solve a lot of the issues in society by taking young men and women and giving them a FREE education while serving their Country in some manor. It would teach morals, discipline and loyalty and so much more.

Maybe cut back on high school and have kids go through light military training and extra classes wouldn't be a bad thing, but have to consider everyone with special needs.

A big problem is that, aside from extreme emergencies, it's better to have people who strongly believe in the cause.

Not everyone is cut out for the military and also perhaps there shouldn't be a draft. However, it's just annoying how the rich get out of frontline combat.
