Microsoft has announced a new version of its search engine Bing, powered by an upgraded version of the same AI technology that underpins chatbot ChatGPT. The company is launching the product alongside an upgraded version of its Edge browser, promising that the two will provide a new experience for browsing the web and finding information online. The Verge:
"It's a new day in search," said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at an event announcing the product. We're currently following the event live, and adding more information to this story as we go. Microsoft argued that the search paradigm hasn't changed in 20 years and that roughly half of all searches don't answer users' questions. The arrival of conversational AI can change this, says the company, delivering information more fluidly and quickly. The "new Bing," as Microsoft is calling it, offers a "chat" function, where users can ask questions and receive answers from the latest version AI language model built by OpenAI.

I recently updated Edge browser on my laptop but I am yet to explore the new changes. I have been using Edge as my secondary browser ever since Microsoft launched Edge.
I'm curious to know how it is? :)
I use chrome.

Anyone use Bing as a search engine? I always use google.
Curious to know what the difference is like? :)

Chrome have always been my favourite browser.
Same.

But I have heard so much how good Microsoft Edge browser have been, I might end up using it.

Oh, really? Most ppl I know use chrome. :)
I'm a macbook user, so I don't use edge. I can't remember the reason I switched from safari to chrome - I think perhaps it was an ad blocker that's effective for blocking Youtube ads?

I have bad experiences with both IE and Edge back when I used to use windows. I had a HDD and not a SSD, so idk if that's related. Weird though, as chrome and firefox always worked fine. But I'm not kidding, the IE/Edge browser crashes would occur with EVERY windows computer (all with HDD)
