Ethiopia signs a historic MoU (memorandum of understanding) with Somaliland to “secure access to the sea and diversify its access to seaports.” A memorandum of understanding was signed on January 1, 2024, by President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia.
