I have always stated that it is not everyone that has gametes that should be parents because parenting is much more than just birthing a child. It extends to being responsible for the needs of a child you birth.
There are so many people in the world that are looking for a chance to become parents, and they never get that opportunity. That implies that parenthood is a a privilege and everyone that has it should always make the most out of it by caring for the kids they have.
Having a child is a privilege and a right if you want to, but if it was unintentional, it's a responsibility. Otherwise, simply don't have them, that's all. Besides, if you're going to "take care" of your child in a very bad way, it's better to be an absent father than to mistreat your child simply because "I'm your father."
