Was it good thing or bad? Of course, this will get some strong opinions from Cubans who left the nation. Anyway, though, the Communists did raise literacy and healthcare rates to at least decent levels. Would that have happened with the status quo? However, though, the price is Communist slavery. Was it really worth it, when as time progressed many other Caribbean nations got better without Communism?
