Children are now expressing their sexual identity (or proclaiming them as gender identity) at early ages and the amount of children has doubled in the past 5 years, that identify as transgender, has now created an industry of pharmaceutical and surgery prescriptions for them to “fix” their bodies. Do you believe that children have the right to consent to puberty blockers? Why or why not?
That would be very tricky. They are still children and not yet mature enough to take such big decisions. But then there are cases where they are very clear about their gender identity and sexual orientation. But there are cases where they are still exploring and might be even influenced. I don't have an answer for this. But for sure, some businesses are making a huge profit out of this.
