It is the guns? Was it the shooter's environment? Is it the possible lack of strong punishment? Is it mental illness? If it is, then how would that factor?
 
If you ask me, too much video games and too much free time, to say the least.
That is more of a social problem than gun problems. Since ever people have had guns. Why are these situations
are guns problems now?
So, if guns get banned, then are we going to ban carpenter's hammers too? what else?

Jealousy of an ex's new life and lover I suspect.
 
I can't see a way to prevent this stuff anymore than natural disasters. Well, people can bring on this stuff and they need to learn to not rub stuff in and other things, but that doesn't justify the response to it.

Guy who is mad at his ex? Classmates that are bullied? It's all just real life.
