When I think of the sports which are the most lucrative in the world, it's going to be between football and boxing. Other sports like golf, basketball, tennis all pay very well but not as much as football and boxing to my knowledge.

Does any sport player make more than a footballer? Footballers make a whole lot of money that even when they retire, they will not finish spending such huge sums of money. So, I go with the game of football as the most lucrative.

I think LeBron James is the highest paid sports person. Football is the most lucrative sports collectively. Even if you are playing for a lowly rated team, you would still earn at least £10,000 a week. That's good money.
