Have you killed animals in a road accident?

I have never hit any animals on the road. Thus, I have never killed animals in a road accident. However, I have collided with another vehicle once, and thankfully no one was badly hurt. Have you ever hit an animal on the road, have you killed an animal on the road?

I remember when I was learning to drive, the road I was going down there was a cat in the middle of it and I had to slow down as quickly as I could so I didn't hit it. I remember using the horn to try and scare it out of the road but it was stubborn. Luckily I never hit it and eventually, it just strolled off the road.

I mean I know cats have 9 lives but jeez!

I've killed plenty but I'm not proud of it. Also, I probably ran over my dog by accident one night. That was very sad and regrettable.

I've might have run over something small, I know for sure a toad. I just hope to never hit a deer or anything of similar size.

I have never experienced this maybe because I don't use roads that animals jump in and out of them. Moreover I'm always very careful on the roads.

I have killed a snake once and I was very happy about it. I hate snakes so much that if it's possible for me to exterminate them all, I will do it in a heartbeat.
