Best Buy bids adieu to DVDs and Blu-Rays.

• In 2024, Best Buy will stop selling DVDs and Blu-Rays at both its brick-and-mortar stores and online.
• Entertainment blog The Digital Bits reported that the end of the line for the discs could come as early as Q1 2024.
• Customers who want to get their hands on DVDs and Blu-Rays can head to other retailers, including Target (TGT), Walmart (WMT), and Amazon (AMZN).
• Netflix (NFLX), which started out by sending DVDs to customers in a rental model, stopped doing so at the end of September.

I no longer visit Best Buy for anything these days, but I would have assumed that they ceased selling them a while back.
