On one thread, someone noted I was misunderstanding Trump when he was calling soldiers who lost as losers and suckers. He was saying politicians start wars and then shame anyone who attacks veterans as being unpatriotic, unmanly etc.. Of course, the goal of this is to cut down on criticism of the war. Anyway, I don't think this was Trump's motive. He's a rich boy and he never fought in Vietnam, because he was rich and he thought it beneath him, like most rich do.

Note: my views on Trump regarding serving soldiers are an opinion, not fact.

I respect the services veterans did, even my dad was a veteran, among many relatives also. However, though, it is true some of them can be quite obnoxious and they probably think they got a green light to abuse people, because they are untouchable veterans.
